Michael Deeley, Producer talk events organised by Non-multiplex cinema

On Tuesday, 24th March 2015,  I was at the Producer Talk event where MIchael Deeley was sharing with the audience his film making experience, giving advices etc..Thank you Michael for such an inspiration talk! It was held at Delloitte auditorium, London.

Malaya (circa 1950), two British Army officers are drawn into a skirmish with local communist forces. Standing side by side, one of them is shot straight through the head and killed. The other, Michael Deeley, goes on to become one of the greatest film producers ever to come out of the UK, producing the famous cult movie, Blade Runner (now widely regarded as a classic by critics and punters alike), as well as winning an Academy Award for producing one of the most definitive movies of the Vietnam War, The Deer Hunter. Michael also goes on to produce the famous British heist caper, The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine, as well as Nicolas Roeg’s alien cult film, The Man Who Fell To Earth, starring David Bowie.
